We were delighted to assist the owners of this stunning 5 star hotel and wedding destination situated in a sleepy village. 

The owners had purchased the property from their own resources but wanted to do more than originally planned during the extensive refurbishment and expansion programme. We were approached to raise £400,000 to complete the works to enable the hotel to open for guests. 

Albeit the property offered security, a part complete hotel with no recent trading history, in a sector that was still affected by Covid, made the task more complicated than expected. However, with AFIGs vast suite of lenders funds were secured from one of their bespoke private family offices. 

The client has now completed works and presents an award winning restaurant and cookery school, wedding and conference facilities, alongside an array of superb overnight accommodation. The hotel has an enviable guest list including many football clubs who prefer the hotel having fixtures in the area and a number of A list companies who make use of the excellent conference facilities. 

A second finance requirement is now in the process of being finalised to help create a new artisan cafe in one of the estates barns proving the concept of the client / broker relationship.
